LeTourneau Drilling Systems Product Support offers technical training courses to provide detailed product information and working knowledge of LeTourneau product lines.
Each course presents specific product information as well as general component theory to provide students with the maximum practical experience. Students benefit from manuals and guide material for their future reference in the field. To ensure competency, exams are taken at the end of the course and certificates of completion are awarded.
MV3000 AC Drives
A four-day course covering Motor & Drive Theory, Components, Parameters, and Software. Recommended for Electricians & Electrical Engineers.
9600 DC Drives (SCR Drives)
A four-day course covering Motor & Drive Theory, Overview, Set-Up, Interfacing, Operations, Programming, & Troubleshooting.
Recommended for Electricians & Electrical Engineers.
EGCP 2 Generator Controls
A three-day course covering Installation, Software, Components, Calibration, Startup, and Troubleshooting. Recommended of Electricians & Electrical Engineers.
Driller's Chair Operations and Maintenance*
A two-day course covering Screen Navigation, Controls, Joystick & E-Stops, Calibration, Software, KEMS, & Operating Procedures.
Recommended for Electricians, Drillers, & Rig Superintendents.
*Course only available at Houston Facility, pre-requisite to Rig Communications
Rig Communications*
A two-day course covering Driller's Chair Schematics, PLCs, Profibus, Siemens S7, 4-20 mA, & WAGO.
Recommended for Electricians, Drillers, & Rig Superintendents.

A two-day course covering Installation, Hydraulics, IBOP, Maintenance, Interfacing, Screens & Traveling Block. Recommended for Mechanics, Tool Pushers, & Drillers.
Mud Pump Mechanical Operations and Maintenance
A two-day course covering Installation, Operation, Maintenance, Fluid/Power Assembly & Disassembly, & Troubleshooting. Recommended for Mechanics, Tool Pushers, & Drillers.
Drawworks Mechanical Operations and Maintenance
A two-day course covering Installation, Lubrication, Startup, Operation, & Maintenance. Recommended for Mechanics, Tool Pushers, & Drillers.
Rotary Table Mechanical Operations and Maintenance
A two-day course covering Procedures, Installation, Lubrication, Maintenance, & Assembly/Disassembly. Recommended for Mechanics, Tool Pushers, & Drillers.
