The 1600 hp (1193 kW) L-1350 is LeTourneau's first in the series of Switched Reluctance (SR) loaders. This machine boasts the ability to center load 200 - 260 ton (181-236 tonne) haulage trucks and has a standard bucket capacity of 30 yd³ (22.94 m³). The L-1350 is propelled by LeTourneau's technologically advanced SR electric drive motors at each wheel providing true, independent four wheel drive. Similar to all LeTourneau loaders with its spacious rubber-mounted, fully insulated cab, the L-1350 offers twin joystick controls, and an eight way adjustable air suspension operator seat.
