The LTI Digital Drilling Control System™ (DDCS) provides the full-range of control needed. It combines Top Drive and Rotary Management, Drawworks Management, Power Generation and Control Management, Mud System Monitoring, Mud Pump Control, and optional Auxiliary Operations Control to deliver the level of control demanded by today’s drillers. And systems are available for both land and offshore applications to meet all requirements for complexity and sophistication.
The advanced drilling system combines management, monitoring, and control of all drilling equipment, with communications provided via interconnect interface panels strategically located throughout the rig. All functions are managed via the DDCS driller workstation console, which includes a choice of touchscreen interface terminals, switch, and joystick controls.
DIGITAL DRILLING CONTROL SOFTWARE
The LTI DDCS is a fully integrated program, with all development, testing, training, and commissioning handled by one responsive organization – LTI. Because DDCS utilizes non-proprietary software, modifications are easily accommodated. To ensure security, restricted access is provided.
